For several upcoming projects, Storylab has been experimenting with tree projections on various scales. Particularly, Storylab's creative team has built custom mapping software that allows a tree's branches to be mapped very quickly and run on any computer/projector combination.
We initially tested with small hibiscus trees in the studio and then moved to a public venue to test with a real audience and more appropriately scaled trees. Stay tuned for more as the trees continue to grow...
